Laboratory Glass Bottles DURAN® original GL 45
Laboratory Bottles are available complete with high temperature screw caps and pouring rings. The PBT cap and ETFE pouring rings offer greater thermal and chemical resistance than the equivalent polypropylene components.
Glass bottles are manufactured from clear DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 glass, renowned for its excellent thermal performance and high resistance to chemical attack.
DURAN® glass conforms to USP / EP Type I.
Available in a full range of popular bottle sizes from 100 ml to 10 Litres.
The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale, and marking field in permanent white enamel.
Permanent Retrace Code on each bottle for full manufacturing lot traceability.
All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
All components are suitable for dry heat sterilization up to 180 °C.
Supplied complete with red polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) GL 45 threaded cap with PTFE faced silicone liner and ETFE pouring ring for drip free pouring.
Addition of 30 % glass fibre reinforcement to the PBT resin increases stiffness, tensile strength and impact resistance of the screw cap.
Screw cap seal with PTFE faced cap liner for efficient sealing.
All construction materials are fully compliant with current international food contact regulations such as (EU) No 10/2011.
